A design client needed a centralised solution for storing their design files with local and cloud backups. We design and setup a basic Mac Mini with a Pegasus thunderbolt RAID. For performance we added a thunderbolt ethernet adapter and bonded the ethernet connections to increase the throughput to 2gbit and added a trunk on the switch.

Backups were handled onsite by a external hard drive and offsite via Backblaze for a full DR solution. Select files were automatically uploaded to Dropbox for ease of sharing with clients.

A simple but effective solution for a small business.
